We are now on the final days of 2013. A great year for video games indeed thanks to the amazing games released as well as the debut of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We are entering a new era, but where do we go from here? To be honest, it’s hard to tell how 2014 will shape up. how does the next generation lineup look like after March? Will early PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners have games to buy during the 2nd and 3rd quarter of 2014? Or will this be Nintendo’s year to get things rolling for the Wii U? Migoy bought the special edition of Beyond: Two Souls and did a full playthrough of it on the Let’s Play channel. It consist of 9 parts with the first 8 being around an hour long and the finale at 2 hours. The DLC that came with the special edition is also in the playlist. (more…)

I caught this trailer yesterday during a Square Enix live stream right before I went to bed and murder mysteries have always piqued my interest. It’s such a strange but potentially awesome concept that I had to check it out: Level-5, one of the best JRPG developers out there, teams up with the world-renowned Studio Ghibli to make a game with a hybrid Tales real-time fighting system where you battle with Pokemon-like monsters. How are the results? Ten hours in, and I’m torn. By all rights I should love this game, but somehow I can’t quite bring myself to use that word yet.
