PS3 version of Assassin’s Creed 3 will include one hour exclusive content

Just in case you haven’t decided on what platform you want to play Assassin’s Creed 3, this bit of info might help. The PS3 version of the game is getting 60 minutes of exclusive content. No information yet on what this extra content is all about.

During E3, Ubisoft announced that the PS3 version will be getting exclusive content. Well this is it. A box art(Shown below) reveals the exclusive content. If I have to guess, this might be a simple side quest with no meaning to the main story at all. Past Assassin’s Creed games like Brotherhood and Revelations both have exclusive offers for PS3 players. Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation is also an exclusive PS Vita game with a completely different protagonist.

I’m planning to get the Xbox 360 version of Assassin’s Creed 3(I like to spread the love between consoles), even with this exclusive content for the PS3, an extra hour of game-time is not enough for me to change my mind.

PS3 players will definitely appreciate the extra content, but is it really a good enough incentive to purchase this version of the game? An hour can pass just like that nowadays when playing.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is out on October 30 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. There will be a Wii U version of the game but no date has been announced.
